Richie Rich

Richie Rich is an animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions that aired on ABC from 1980 to 1984 and again in 1988 as part of the weekend/weekday programming block The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera, Based upon Harvey Comics' popular Richie Rich comic book characters, the series shared time slots with Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, The Little Rascals, and Pac-Man over its original broadcast run. The other most visible character was Richie's dog, the appropriately named Dollar. The show airs occasionally on Boomerang; Boomerang's reruns feature the theme from The Richie Rich/Scooby-Doo Show and Scrappy Too! over the closing credits.

Foghorn, a pirate who lives in the water by the Rich's underwater city, tries to steal a control box that would destroy the city so he can search for buried treasure. / The devious Collector hatches an ingenious plot to bankrupt the Rich Family and take over their estate.
Shaker, the Earthquakes Maker threatens to destroy a famous landmark if Richie fails to unravel three clues leading to his destination. / The Abominable Snowman creates a machine that changes the earth's climates into ice and snow.
Irona is reprogrammed by the Collector to steal from the Rich vaults. / Mayda acts the pest when she follows Richie to Kodapur and steals the island ruler's giant diamond.
Richie, with the help of his friends, must defeat a robotic villain named Computo who is planning to crash all of the video games and computers around the world.
